Friday Nights at Akuna Oval
We help children get started, to learn to bat, bowl, and field and learn basic cricket skills in a fun and safe environment.
This is similar to JUNIOR BLASTERS program from previous years.
For kids up to 8 years we run a fantastic Friday night of training and games at our club house, called Cricket Blast. The whole community of Kenmore cricket comes a long and helps out. We host a BBQ and drinks in our club house, whilst the kids are out there learning the basics of cricket and having a great time.
Kenmore Super-6s
Suggested Ages: 7-10
Experience: Junior Blasters
Friday nights at Akuna Oval.
Kenmore Cricket run program that replaces the Woolworths Master Blasters from previous years. Suitable for kids aged 8-10 who are new to cricket (or have played Junior/Master Blasters last year). Games are played with a soft-ball, run for about 60-90 minutes and are fun & safe (no specialised equipment necessary).
We host a BBQ and drinks in our club house, whilst the kids are out there learning the basics of cricket and having a great time.
MSW Junior Cricket
Suggested Ages: 10-18
Experience: Master Blasters/Basic
Once you have learnt the basics and have some experience of playing with soft-balls in a social environment, we welcome you to Junior Cricket on Saturday mornings.

Stage-2: 142g Leather Ball; full gear including Helmet; 30 Overs
